With almost a decade in the drone industry - and a decade in the sports media industry before that - Jacob has found creative ways to combine both. Knowing he was in a growing industry, Jacob - with some help from his brother Chase - started BlazeAir in 2018 with a focus on drone photography in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Now, with the help of his incredible team, he has helped transform BlazeAir into a full media and production company, with clients all over the world.

Ethan blends creativity with strategic thinking to produce compelling visual content. With a solid foundation in marketing and professional sales from his time in college in Duluth, Ethan brings a unique perspective to his videography work. WIth a versatile skillset of shooting and operating drones for 10+ years. In his free time Ethan can be found out on the lake fishing

With a background in traditional production, Sam graduated from Montana States' film school with a focus on cinematography. At BlazeAir, he leads the production team and acts as a director and cinematographer. As our creative director, Sam takes the lead on all things content. Between projects he spends his time in the mountains as a ski bum, basing out of our Bozeman office.

Since making movies with his friends in middle school, Collin has always had an interest in film. With a communication and media degree and film minor from Mankato, he brings a background in traditional production. At BlazeAir, Collin is a reliable shooter and trusted editor. When he’s not in the cutting room, Collin is attending sporting events and concerts, as well as taking advantage of Minnesota summers.
ChRIS "phluxy" Spangler
FPV Pilot
The 2019 Drone Racing League SIM Tryouts winner and former DRL pilot, Phluxy is one of the top FPV racing pilots on the planet. A passionate gamer, drone racer, and U.S. Army vet, Phluxy applies his racing skills to precise and high speed flying to get the best cinematic shots and adds a unique perspective to BlazeAir projects.

Marketing Specialist
A senior marketing student at Montana State University in Bozeman, she brings her expertise to BlazeAir Productions by managing all things marketing and social media. With a passion for crafting engaging content and building brand presence, she plays a key role in connecting BlazeAir with its audience. Outside of work and academics, she’s an avid sports fan who loves cheering on the Bobcats and traveling to new places.

Drone Pilot & Cinematographer
Eric has been in media for over three decades. He was a sports anchor for the NBC affiliate in the Twin Cities for 25 years. Currently he owns Perk at Play Productions and often serves as a host and producer with BlazeAir Productions.
Andrew is a video editor and filmmaker who had his interest sparked in childhood and started his own video production business while in college. His experience since then includes working on social media and tourism campaigns, broadcast commercials, drone video production and much more. Andrew’s had a hand in filming and editing videos for international brands like Red Bull, Nationwide and Formula 1. When he’s not working, he’s likely exploring his new home in Colorado hiking and mountain biking.
Orion is a recent graduate of Montana State University and is excited to begin his professional career as part of the Blaze Air crew. Graduating with a major in mechanical engineering and a minor in film Orion brings a unique analytical mindset to a the creative industry. As a skilled FPV pilot, aerial DP, camera operator, sound engineer, and editor he loves to combine his hobbies with his passion for film making - which is usually bringing him outdoors somewhere!
